If you’re struggling to figure out why your room doesn’t feel happy yet you are in the right place! Most people stop short of what it takes to really make a room beautiful and personal. It’s all about adding layers with styling!
I’ve got you! I’ve been busy compiling my best decorating and styling tips and tricks into my Styling School mini courses. They are fun, easy to follow and digestible. You can buy them separately or bundle them. So far, I’ve got one for you on lamps, on pillows and a brand new one just launched!
More on that in a sec.
⭐️ First, I want to make sure you don’t miss out on your last chance to get my Colour Collections in my large painted colour boards. I’m selling them out for good and once they are gone they are gone forever 💛
The Colour Collections include my go to colours, greens, blues, yellows, pinks, blacks, browns, plus additional neutrals and whites that aren’t in my System Neutrals & Whites Collections. I still have limited boxes available in Sherwin Williams and in Benjamin Moore.

Learn the art of the gallery wall: it’s easy!

I’m on a few facebook decorating/renovation forums that I occasionally like to scan to keep up to date on the kinds of questions people are asking about their homes and one of the biggest decorating dilemmas that most people have is ART.
What to buy?
Where to hang it?
How many pieces of art do I actually need?
Well, I’m here to tell you it’s way more than you think.
So if these rooms look familiar to you, you’re in the right place!

Because the third module of Styling School; Gallery Walls, the answer to: My Walls Feel Empty is officially launched this week!
I’ve packed all my best tips and tricks and advice about how to create a show stopping moment in your living room in this latest module!
So if you have a living room with a wall that looks like this:

You could learn how to turn it into this (below).
And just as an aside, doesn’t this sofa look all dressed up and ready for a party? And see the coffee table before. The black in the area rug competes with the black base making it feel busy and heavy.
The new rug is now the right size and it doesn’t compete with the table. So much better.
And now the wall looks finished! Notice I added a fifth piece to the corner wall because it also feels like part of the vignette because we’re looking at that corner at the same time as the main wall.

And what about the wall above the TV? That is the loneliest wall of all in a lot of homes.

Not when you learn how to create a gallery wall!

Today is the last day to get it for almost half price:

Not sure how to make a mood board? I’ve got a course for that too! You can learn this powerful and fun tool quickly and easily with my How to Create a Mood Board course.
If you’re tackling home projects or if you’re a professional and you KNOW you want to have my Colour Collections of my go to large colour samples to easily demonstrate the right colours to your clients, today’s the day to make sure you get your set before they sell out for good.

How to Choose a Paint Colour for Your Living Room; Part 2
This post is so relatable! Styling is the missing layer in so many rooms, and your drill-down on gallery walls, pillows and lighting is really great – as someone who always tinkers with my space – I appreciate how you talk about the art of layering and balance.
Also, color is such an important part of how a room feels, and choosing the right paint can be just as important as the art placement. I use Dulux Paint and there are so many shades and sheen options that work nicely with gallery walls, vignettes, and cozy little corners (more cozy little corners!). I appreciate the inspo – now I need to rethink my living room walls!
