Nordstrom and You Look Fab

By 07/08/2011January 23rd, 201714 Comments

Tomorrow I’m getting up at the crack of dawn and driving down to Seattle to pre-select at Nordstrom for fall with my stylist Angie from You Look Fab. It’s a great opportunity to get some fabulous fall items at 40% – 60% off. So instead of paying $600 for these Stuart Weitzman boots last fall (my big splurge then), I could have got them for $300 just like Angie did (here she is in her boots):

In between clients and projects I’ve been really busy working on my new website, it’ll be launched in the fall along with webinars, a new and improved True Colour Expert Workshop and lots of other exciting news. Can’t wait to show you the new site because everything will be all together in one place instead of separate like it is now. And I have a new, fabulous and talented design assistant. She was here today but I wasn’t organized enough to get her photo. . . you’ll meet her soon!

Then on Saturday I’m celebrating with my sweet sister Anita (this is her blog), it’s her 40th birthday! We are taking a limo from Abbotsford to downtown Vancouver for dinner with a group of her best girlfriends!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Happy shopping! I'm loving those boots. My bank account is recovering from a trip to New York City so I need to stay away from any shopping for awhile. Post what you buy, I can live vicariously through your great finds.

YES!!! I'm so excited to find out what webinars you'll be doing!! Your information is so valuable and practical!!
I found you pretty recently but I feel like I've read your entire blog! And I've shared it with a slew of people, including my professionl house painter dad. We're moving across town, INTO my folks' neighborhood and we're talking about being in cahoots and me being his "color helper!"
I've learned so much from you and I'm excited to help people choose the right paint colors in the future! Can't wait to see what changes you're making–maybe you're coming to Arizona?? 🙂
Thanks for sharing your expertise and talent with us! I'm excited for you to start this new chapter!
P.S. I'm taking oodles of notes so I can decorate our future house to be happy, colorful and comfy. I have to work with the existing tile floors, two types of countertops and dark maple cabinets–yikes!!!

I found your blog very recently (although I've probably read nearly every post now!) and thought, "Color consultant!? I want to do that!"
My dad is a 25-year-plus home painter and my family and I are set to move into a home in his and my mom's neighborhood in the next three weeks and I am excited to be "in cahoots" with him, (hopefully as a "color coach" of some kind) to help people choose the colors that make them happy! The only local training I've found evidently already has someone in my "territory…?" Okaaaaay!
Anyway, my dream is to take your class!! I'm dying to know if you're offering it through a webinar!! Or you're coming to Phoenix…?? 🙂
Either way, I have taken copious amounts of notes from your blog to help me decorate our future home around the existing tile floors, two types of countertops and dark maple cabinets. Yikes! Your insight about undertones and context have been so eye-opening–literally!
I'm already following your recommendations to help me pick a shade of gray for the walls that won't compete with what's there and will let us add lots of POPS of colors. It's so exciting!
Thanks for sharing your expertise and talent with us readers!! I'm sure this next chapter will be wonderful for you–can't wait to hear more!
