Well I’m off tomorrow morning bright and early to the CMG Conference in Portland this weekend. I’m going to drive (I love a road trip) it’s only about 5 hours from Vancouver. I’m stopping in Seattle for 2 hours to do a little shopping with Angie from You Look Fab. I still want one or two cute jackets. Angie says if you have a great jacket, you can wear pajamas and still look good. My PJ’s would definitely need covering up–haven’t bought new ones in a while 🙂
I have my ‘What’s NEXT’ colours all organized and I’m looking forward to seeing all my colour designer friends! My playlist is ready to go and here are two of my favourites! What’s your favourite song? I need more!

A road trip, Portland, shopping with Angie….you are one lucky woman! Color me jealous. Will you post some pics of the new jackets with pajamas, so we can judge? (Or giggle!)
Safe journey, Maria! Can't wait to see you tomorrow! I'm sure we'll score fab loot at the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale. Those jackets are waiting for you.
And don't forget to pack those pajamas 🙂
Have a great trip, Maria! Thanks for posting the lessons from a 2 yr. old blogger. I've learned so much from your blogging advice.
Funny..I just bought a new jacket yesterday. My daughter 'picked' it. It's VERY stylish…not something I would naturally gravitate towards. I know we will all love seeing you in your new one, even if you are wearing pajamas..Ha!
My favorite song is "What I Love about Sunday" by Frank Morgan.
Have fun shopping!

Maria,
Road trips are great for the soul and they get the cobwebs out (Halloween left overs). Have a great break from the normal routine. I usually listen to audio books on a road trip. It's all good!

Have a fun trip. My girlfriend and I used to drive up to Oregon all the time in college to meet boys. How silly we were. But the scenery was gorgeous this time of year!
Sounds like a fabulous trip! I can't wait to hear about how it went!
My two most recent ipod additions were "Airplanes" by B.o.B (identified as "explicit") and "Little Lion Man" by Mumford and Sons (not identified as "explicit" but should be). They're both really fun if you're not bothered by some profanity. Oh, and I know it's older, but Shakira's "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" still gets a lot of play time from me. It's a great song for car dancing. Assuming I'm not the only one who "dances" while driving… 😉
Have an absolute blast!
Oh Maria!!!
I wish I were going with you! My son lives across the river from Portland in Vancouver. I just love Portland, haven't been there in many years. Do enjoy, take pictures and eat lots of yummies!

Love the picture of the trees – the colours are fantstic!
You probably don't want to know what my favourite songs are. Let's just say I have unusual taste in music 😉
Have fun on your trip – looking forward to hearing all about it!

P.S. I'm sure you can bake! It's easy, just do exactly what the recipe says to do 🙂
Any James Blunt, Beatles, Robbie Williams, Lily Allen…
Have a great trip!
