Keynote on Colour in Calgary!

By 05/27/2009January 26th, 201722 Comments

Well my lovelies, I’m off tomorrow (Wednesday) at the crack of dawn to fly out for my speaking engagement to a group of talented Calgary designers!  I am very excited!

Since most of you approved my yellow sweater from my last post,  I’m wearing it tomorrow night with an orange skirt and a fantastic orange necklace I bought a couple years ago when I was in New York and have never worn (because I normally don’t wear yellow and orange).  However, since they are my favourite colours, I thought it would be fun to wear them!

Remember the post I wrote in January “10 Happy goals for 2009”.  Well one of them was that I would be paid to fly somewhere to speak about colour.  Well here we are in May and that’s what I’m doing.  Hopefully this means that the BMW x3 isn’t far behind!!

I’m back Thursday morning and will have lots of fun pictures to post!

Congratulations! I’m sure you will ‘Wow’ them with your expertise. Have a wonderful trip! I’m thinking this is a sign of more good things to come.

Also, thank for the link to your earlier goals 2009 blog. I have get myself such a list and put it on the refrigerator – though most of mine should be related to updating/changing wardrobe, personal maintenance, exercising and for certain, trying for a flat stomach. Having 4 year old twins and now being the general contractor on our renovation/addition project leaves about 2 minutes of free time for myself. Today’s post reminded of the days when I used to fly to clients – all this was BC (before children).

Looking forward to your posts after returning – wishing I could be in the audience.

  • Renae says:

    Maria!
You go Girl! Since it’s now Thursday I am presuming you already knocked them dead in your yellow sweater and orange skirt. You are the queen of colour so you must be colourful!
    Blessings…

oh, btw…your pix do not show up on safari…I had to go to IE to see them. Such a bummer, I have that problem with others too.
