Villa Vignamaggio in Tuscany. Kenneth Branagh filmed Much Ado About Nothing there. It's lovely. Been once would love to go again. Your third photo reminded me of this lovely place.

The only problem is I think they don't allow kids and I've got a 13 year old so I think a lovely apartment rental in the middle of Paris for ten days would be just about perfect or wait a minute, Bali? I could go on and on.

I'd love to go to Ireland! We have Irish neighbours and they are so much fun, they say everyone is like that in Ireland.
To me, it's the people and landscape that make a great vacation and I think Ireland would have both!

I'd love to visit ruins in Italy and in Greece. I haven't been to Europe in 11 years, and I feel as though my next voyage *needs* to start in one or both of those places because those countries were huge players in shaping our culture.
I am an ex-apt who lives in Australia. My dream vacation would be to take my whole tribe (there is 6 of us) home to be with my family in America over the Christmas holiday. It's been over a decade since we have all been together for Christmas, and as we swelter in the Aussie Sun down under, a trip home just seems dreamy!

What a fabulous giveaway idea. It could be used to create a "memory book" of grandchildren for a mother's upcoming birthday Or better yet try to pull together one for a book for a friend fighting cancer. She's always joked about dating a full calendar's worth of great men. Maybe we can do a documentary from Mr. January to Mr. December!

I would like to spend Christmas in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I lived there once and have not been back for 30 years. It's a magical place, especially at Christmas. Oh, the photos I could take! Luminaries, old churches, adobe homes, sunsets, mountains, snow, the people, the food, the art, the clear mountain air…

I would love to go to Italy too, Maria! But my dream vacation would be in the southern part of England..the rural landscapes are amazing. I want to trekking and stay in an old bed and breakfast. Then I'd hot foot it over to London..just because I have to go visit the location of so many of my favorite English novels.
Can you believe my first photo book was last year and included photos of our three week trip to Germany including the Christmas markets and a stunning New Year's eve celebration…plus concerts in 700 yr.old churches by an organ virtuoso. I only got to put in a few photos, but I'm wanting so much to do a whole photo book of the entire trip. And to think..I was only four HOURS from England. Sigh..we were with a host and couldn't make our own travel plans. But one day…:O)

I'm 100% with you. My boss is from Italy and thinks I'm crazy to want to go there in the winter. I said after living in LA – I love cold weather for the holidays and what a better place than to be bundled up with the history, food and architecture of Italy.
