5 | Direct from Home Depot: Which floors go with this tile?

4 | Love Your Home Forever
A timeless home doesn’t need a renovation every 10 years, period! And here’s why this is so important – every single homeowner should be focused on creating spaces that don’t scream the decade they were built in.
Remember, there are enough decisions to make in every project – save your energy for the things that really matter! This is exactly why I’ve spent years teaching people how to make better colour and design choices that stand the test of time. Homeowners sign up here. 3 | Direct from Home Depot: The Biggest Hardware Mistake
For a designer-worthy kitchen, skip the common hardware approach of putting pulls on everything. Instead, opt for knobs on doors and pulls on drawers only. You could even choose knobs for all. One less decision to make that’ll keep your kitchen timeless.

2 | This Needs to Stop
Darlings, let me be crystal clear about something that needs to stop RIGHT NOW! I’m seeing everyone jumping on the black hardware bandwagon, installing it in kitchens that have absolutely no black anywhere else – and this is not the way to create a timeless kitchen or bathroom!
Black hardware by itself is not going to magically update your dated kitchen. And don’t get me started on builders making black the new standard for everything – it’s not like chrome or polished nickel that plays well with others!
Remember, you’re the boss of your renovation! Don’t let trends push you into design decisions you’ll regret later.

Hi! I’ve been following you and have ordered your books a d colour wheel. Can’t wait to get it!. Do you also offer personal assistance for new kitchen builds? We have a 17 foot ceiling great room and the adjoining pantry is off the kitchen, but with no door. My question is, do I continue with the same colour of cabinets into the pantry? The kitchen island has a black counter, with light wood tones… I was wanting to have a black cabinet colour in the pantry. But, would it just look like an add on. Help!
No, Steacy, do not use black, please!
