When my sweet blogger friends post about my blog, it seems to happen in bunches (lucky me).
Brooke Giannetti from Velvet & Linen included me in yesterday’s post on her wonderful blog – check it out here. Brooke is an extremely talented interior designer (whose style I just love) who recently showed us photos of her LA home. I was most envious of her garden patio area, that she gets to sit and drink coffee in. EVERY DAY. *sigh* I need to live in a warm place.
Brooke has a gorgeous website and as I was reviewing it the other day I discovered that she had decorated a condo in Vancouver overlooking Coal Harbour!
You can see more of this project on her website, these are the photos that were taken at sunset.
I will almost always pick a peaceful and beautiful garden over a gorgeous view. Luckily, where I live on the North Shore in Vancouver, I don’t have to choose. We have a stunning view of the city and a private garden.
Where would you like to be right now?
The Vancouver Condo is stunning!
I love the views, but I also love the zen vibe in the place – lots of warm wood tones and really interesting elements.
Gorgeous – I wish you could come and do my house!
Thank you, Maria for doing a post about my work!
As I have told you before, your blog is such an inspiration for me. It is truly an honor to have my work included on your beautiful blog.
So, view or garden? Definitely garden. My dream is to live on a little farm in a wooded area where I can create all kinds of secret gardens to discover.
It sounds like you live in an incredible place!
Steve and I loved Vancouver when we were there designing the project that you featured.
Thank you again. I feel so incredibly fortunate to be included in this wonderful design blogging community with generous designers like you.

Brooke
that dining room is breathtaking! I love dining rooms with coordinating aka mismatched chairs. So pretty!
Wow, I could move in both places.
You have been so wonderful and such a delight to get to know. Thank you again for all your help and your wonderful comments. I know exactly what you mean about asking for money and charging what you should, it is SO hard for me. Thanks for all the great advice!
holy moly, that vancouver condo is brilliant. you are talent my dear!
I think Brooke’s garden room is my most favourite room in her gorgeous home!!
It’s a tough call, but I think I would go for the gorgeous view over the garden — especially if it’s a water view. Of course, if there was a beautiful garden between me and the water, that would be ideal!! 🙂

Hmmm…both? I like variety.
Brooke and her husband are incredibly talented! I have seen that Vancouver condo in a publication or something before…it’s bugging me that I cna’t remember :^
Such talented people in this blogosphere 🙂
Hey I can’t take credit for the Vancouver condo (although I live here) that one was also decorated by the fabulous Brooke!
Wow! The view of the city from up there is just plain awesome. And the design of the house is very elegant and vibrant. Love those dim lights at night!
