When Elizabeth and Bill were looking at homes in their neighbourhood, the Real Estate Agent told them that Halloween was fun here because everyone gets right into it. It’s the most fun Halloween I’ve ever had running around  with William and Markus and a small but very important ladybug, Isabella (daughter of Elizabeth’s friend Crystal).

After the first few houses, it was hard to keep up with William. Gathering candy must be the most fun there is for little angels at halloween!!
It was three years ago today that I started writing this blog! This was the first post I wrote, and here is the second one (when William was 1 1/2 years old).

Thanks for allowing me to comment. Of course, happy birthday! I found your website when I moved into a small apartment from a very large house. It was such an adjustment, especially sharing it with someone who simply lived in it. No color or style coordinating of any kind. Your advice was all I needed to transform this little place. It now has BM Cumin spice walls, lots of white woodwork, lots of white framing and accents, white and brown furniture. Parisian yellow linen and pillows and a hint of candy apple red accents. Simple and clean. Mostly, I want to say, your blog is as welcoming as recess and chorus is during a full day at school. Hope we stay connected. Would love to have you in Chicago for a workshop. I’d definitely sign up for your class!
