Here’s my entry vignette to celebrate Thanksgiving. My neighbours were quick to compliment me on the colour since they are used to seeing all white flowers in my garden, haha.
Every year when the fall magazines arrive on the newsstands it’s always fun to see how many ways a pumpkin can be decorated. Painted pumpkins are a big trend along with intricately carved versions. These are some of my favourites:
I love the white lights on plain pumpkins, maybe that’s what I’ll do this halloween!
How much fun is this mouse hotel.
If you found pumpkins this awesome, you wouldn’t need to touch them.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers!
Those are totally awesome! I LOVE it…I’m going to dig out my white lights right now! The snake is a perfect addition. What a great way to start the week…thank you.
Oh, the possibilities…. franki
I love all of them! What classy pumpkins. Who would have ever thought you could get so artistic with pumpkins!
Thanks Maria, I love it! Lucy
Love the pumpkin pics!
Especially the one with the teeth, what a neat idea. We have been carving intricate designs for a number of years, we would do three every year and really decorate our front step. But I’m getting tired of all the work and my crop of stencils is finished. These are some great new options.
I LOVE the Mouse Hotel!!! And the lights on the pumpkins and the green & black ones. Almost makes me want to go out & get some….but I’m saving for Christmas…thanks for a “Delightful Eyefull!!!
Forwarded this posting to my daughter. Grandsons will LOVE the mouse hotel. Thanks Maria!
The mouse hotel is really cute. You could also do a creepy-crawlie version with worms or centipedes.
I love the daisies you have. What kind are they? I live in a gray cape cod house and would love to add those to the landscaping.
Love the mouse hotel and white painted orange polka dot pumpkin. Maria, really like the way you put the small flower pots inside the orange lanterns in your “entry vignette.”
I’m really in love with the unusual pumpkin colors and sizes. I’ve bought a variety this year, and think they are beautiful just by themselves. Although, we’ll carve them right before Halloween and put candles in them.
