Well my lovelies, I’m off tomorrow (Wednesday) at the crack of dawn to fly out for my speaking engagement to a group of talented Calgary designers! I am very excited!
Since most of you approved my yellow sweater from my last post, I’m wearing it tomorrow night with an orange skirt and a fantastic orange necklace I bought a couple years ago when I was in New York and have never worn (because I normally don’t wear yellow and orange). However, since they are my favourite colours, I thought it would be fun to wear them!
I’m back Thursday morning and will have lots of fun pictures to post!

Maria, I’m so happy for you! It is rewarding to reach a goal. You did look so cute in that sweater so don’t ever worry about wearing color. (This coming from me who wears black a LOT!). Give us a report when you get back. Carol
Hi Maria, The picture with the plane? Are those colors that the camera actually caught?

I’m so excited for you and can’t wait until you return to hear all about it! You’ll rock them, I know!! As for making a list of goals – I definitely have to do that because I’d love a BMW x3, too… the list (and hard work, of course) seems to be working for you!

Isn’t it amazing what can be accomplished by defining goals and writing them down?!
Congratulations and best of luck!
(Now I have to go write down my goal of stumbling into a large bag of unmarked money!) 😉
Knock ’em dead!

Maria, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Yes, marc is very talented and I am so lucky to have him as a neighbor and friend. I did not know that about oasis either. It is great to learn new things!
To thedraperyshop,
That 2nd image was from flickr, so it may have been tweaked.

Well planned and executed!
Bravissima.
Congratulations! I’m sure you will ‘Wow’ them with your expertise. Have a wonderful trip! I’m thinking this is a sign of more good things to come.
Also, thank for the link to your earlier goals 2009 blog. I have get myself such a list and put it on the refrigerator – though most of mine should be related to updating/changing wardrobe, personal maintenance, exercising and for certain, trying for a flat stomach. Having 4 year old twins and now being the general contractor on our renovation/addition project leaves about 2 minutes of free time for myself. Today’s post reminded of the days when I used to fly to clients – all this was BC (before children).
Looking forward to your posts after returning – wishing I could be in the audience.
Maria!
You go Girl! Since it’s now Thursday I am presuming you already knocked them dead in your yellow sweater and orange skirt. You are the queen of colour so you must be colourful!
Blessings…
oh, btw…your pix do not show up on safari…I had to go to IE to see them. Such a bummer, I have that problem with others too.
I meant to say in the other post comments: your outfit was beautiful.
