There were 6 ‘rooms’ designed by 6 wonderful and famous designers in a warehouse setting at the Mayo Studios last night. It was a celebration of Lee Jofa’s new Heritage Collection.  This is what it looks like empty:
We have been taken all over the city and wined and dined everywhere, it’s been quite the adventure these past 3 days! Quintessense also posted about this event in lots of detail here.
I photographed my two favourite rooms.  This was the first by Suzanne Kasler. Her look is ‘collected not decorated’ I love that and strive for that in the spaces I design.

Very clever way to create the experience of sunlight streaming through the windows of each space, it would not have been as fabulous otherwise!

I also love Thomas O’Brien’s ‘collected’ looking rooms.  I have always admired the photos of his New York apartment, this one is his bedroom:

After this party we were taken back downtown to another one hosted by Sub-Zero.  Their showroom was beautiful and the food and champagne was the best yet! I have lots of material for several more posts on this amazing event hosted by Kravet!

Kelly from ReStyling Home attended my True Colour Expert Training in Atlanta last week, here is her review.  There are still spaces left for Toronto, June 1-3 and Vancouver June 23-25. Click here for all the details on times and locations and email me if you would like to register!
