When you need to make decisions on logo colours, products, packaging, signage and uniforms, your colour selections will be based on personal influences from childhood memories and cultural background.  Those colours will also influence the general public — which may or may not be what you want to convey.  That's when you should consider hiring a colour professional.

I will guide you through your own preferences and biases using a detailed questionnaire.  We will consider lighting, texture and pattern, visibility and legibility including colour balance and point of purchase displays.

I will work with you to develop a palette for your target audience by considering the positive and negative connotations of each colour being considered to come up with the combination that best communicates your message.

Red

Attention-getter, demanding, red is strength, courage, excitement and suggests the very ebb and flow of life.

Orange

Less aggressive than red, orange is a gregarious, fun-loving hue.  It's not everyone's favourite colour but the need to observe and experience its warmth is inescapable.

Yellow

Connected to the warmth of the sun, this happy colour causes feelings of excitement and optimism.  Yellow best expresses the essence of light and also suggests an intellectual energy, curiousity and the need for enlightenment.

Green

Most symbolic of nature and new beginnings, green refreshes and restores.  It's the most balanced colour in the spectrum.

Blue

Represents the highest orders of justice and moral behaviour.  It's reliable, dependable and also stands for quality, loyalty and achievement.  Long associated with the serenity of a clear blue sky, it's a majority favourite.

Purple

A magical and intriguing colour, it stands for exclusivity, royalty, quality, wisdom and transformation.
